RESIDENTIAL ADDICTION TREATMENT IN OROVILLE
Residential addiction treatment in Oroville at GR Care gives adults a place to focus on care while practicing healthier ways of living.
You stay at the residence and take part in an individualized treatment experience. Clinical work, relationships, mindfulness, movement, and everyday routines each have a place in that experience.
We want you to understand both the care and the setting before making a decision.
STRUCTURE THAT SUPPORTS YOUR OWN WORK
Treatment begins with assessment and planning around your needs. Your team considers your history, goals, health, and the support that may help you participate.
The plan can include clinical approaches and experiential opportunities. As you progress, your team revisits your goals and treatment needs with you.
Our program provides structure, accountability, and boundaries. Within that framework, your voice matters. You can ask questions, discuss concerns, and take an active role in your care.
WHAT DAILY LIFE CAN INCLUDE
A day in residential treatment has room for clinical work and the everyday experiences that give it context.
Depending on your plan and the current schedule, your experience may include:
Individual or group therapeutic work.
Mindfulness, reflection, or other guided practices.
Movement, outdoor time, and experiential activities.
Shared meals and opportunities for connection.
Time for rest and personal routines.
Practical planning for life after residential care.
Schedules and participation vary. Ask admissions for a current overview rather than assuming every activity takes place each day.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND AMENITIES FOR EVERYDAY LIVING
Comfort, rest, and practical needs deserve attention during treatment. GR Care’s residential setting includes shared living spaces, laundry facilities, and a residential kitchen.
Most bedrooms are planned as double occupancy, with full-size beds, closet and desk space. Bathrooms may be shared between rooms. More private accommodations may be available, depending on current availability.
Healthy meals, snacks, movement, and physical well-being are part of our whole-person approach. Tell admissions about allergies, dietary needs, or preferences so the team can discuss what is feasible.
Outdoor and recreation opportunities may include hiking, fitness, games, BBQs, or time around a campfire. Options depend on season, staffing, schedules, and clinical appropriateness.
Our onsite amenities include beautiful outdoor fitness and recreation areas, including a basketball court, workout equipment, green spaces, a sweatlodge, and more…
CARE AND SUPPORT WHILE YOU STAY
Residential treatment means living onsite. Before admission, ask our team to explain daytime and overnight staffing, access to clinicians, medical arrangements, and how concerns are handled.
These details matter when choosing a program. Share any health or support needs so the team can assess whether GR Care is an appropriate placement.
STAYING CONNECTED WITH RESPONSIBILITIES
Entering treatment can raise questions about work, family, and communication.
GR Care’s approach allows individualized consideration of those needs. Phone and electronics access follows program and clinical guidelines. Limited, supervised technology access for legitimate work may be possible when clinically appropriate.
The team may also help appropriate clients with FMLA related processes or documentation. Assistance does not establish eligibility or guarantee an employer’s decision.
Discuss these matters before admission so expectations are clear.
FAMILY, PRIVACY, AND PERSONAL BOUNDARIES
Approved loved ones may visit according to program policies and clinical appropriateness. Ask about current family involvement options and the consent needed to coordinate care.
If a public or community outing raises a legitimate privacy concern, discuss it with your team. Appropriate alternatives may be available.

PREPARING FOR THE TRANSITION
Discharge planning begins early. Case management may help you consider next-step care, housing or sober living, employment, and other practical needs.
The aim is to connect treatment with the life you will return to. Plans reflect your circumstances and available resources; specific placements or outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
